Default Wiper switch swap

Ok my first 88 xj had a inter. Wiper switch and now my second 88 dosent have it theres two 88 in the local jy ehat do I need to do to swap the switches

Do you mean intermitent wipers (?)

It's real easy to change the switch on the column (just pop the wheel & lock hub) but the motor is different too.

Ok I wasnt sure cause I was looking up the wiring diagram on alldata and its a vut different I was just making sure

Default parts needed

Wiper motors are not different (just double checked). To make the swap you need the switch on the column and the control module which plugs in under the dash. Modules are readily available at the JY and they are not difficult to repair if not operational (just search on this site). To install the module simply unplug the wiper harness connectors and plug the mudule in between them.
