Default Wiper question please help

So i'm trying to troubleshoot why my windshield wipers don't work. I have already replaced the $30 circuit breaker thats impossible to find and they still don't work. Is there any way i can test if the motor is working without taking everything apart? If anybody has any suggestions, I'm willing to try anything, thank you!

you should be able to pull the cowl and access the motor and put 12v power to the motor right? if the motor works directly could be the switch.

12v cant hurt you.

basically unplug the wiper motor connector and apply a ground and hot wire directly, this should make the wipers work

If it does then your switch is out, if it doesnt then its your motor

Or hook a meter to the plug and check for 12 volts with the switch on.

It is not the voltage that gets you. It is the current.

Default wipers

Do you have intermittent wipers? If so find the control module under the dash. It's very near the steering column and attached with velcro. Pull it out and remove the electrical connectors completely removing the module. Plug both ends of the wiring harness together. If your wipers then work on only the hi & lo position then the module is bad. If that does not do it it's either the switch (kind of a pain to replace) or the motor which is much easier to replace. Go to the local pick-apart for replacements.
