wiper issues

Default wiper issues

98 xj classic, front wipers work on intermittent and low, but when i switch to high, the wipers stop wherever they were and twitch.

plus the rear sprayer doesnt work.

any help is much appreciated!

time for a new wiper motor...and possibly a washer pump for the rear..

Could be a bad multi-switch or the wiper motor speed control board. My wipers were actin' funny and I went to replace the board and found it had come loose (disconnected) plugged it back in and no more wiper problems.
*Also, on the multi-switch, I had headlight issues and found loose wires to the switch was the problem. You might check that out too as maybe the wires to the wiper are loose.

On mine it's behind the driver side kick panel.
