So my front wiper blades only work on the two fastest settings...I'm not sure if anyone has had this problem, but my wiper blades will only work on the fastest and second to fastest settings.

It is extremely annoying when its barely raining and I have to flip them on for a second, I wish the slower settings worked that way it wouldn't be a problem...

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!!!

 

mine does the same thing. . so i hope someone else chimes in. does yours make a noise when you put it on the lowest setting? mine will make a funny noise and move the blades a couple inches then give up

 

it is probably the wiper control box that is under the dash. mine was partially plugged cauising only off and fast to work.

 

Mine doesn't make any noise on the slower settings, it just doesn't work at all...

Where exactly is the wiper control box? (Which side?)

 

drivers side. mine looks like this (not sure on a 96)



its a black box. i found out mine wasnt partially plugged in (i was under there re working the grounds) and found it. Plugged it back in, and boom... i had all of my settings back.

it has a two plugs, one on each end.
