from all the searching i've done here the part that keeps coming up is the wiper delay module is this part located on the kickplate or steering column. also to test this can i plug the 2 connectors together check for low and as for pulling it apart and looking for burnt spots or corrosion correct.

look under the dash below the steering column for the wiper control module.
it should be on the edge of the lower trim held on by Velcro.

My 94 also had your symptom. I replaced the wiper module behind the lower dash trim with one from a 96. Now I have intermittent, slowest, and slow speeds, haha.

kickazz rig you got there. also good luck finding a new wiper intermittent mod. i ended up getting like 6 or so from the junk yard and only 2 worked, one was for redmuck 1 which was a 91, and now my 93, redmuck 2.0, has the other working one.

^^^lol... welcome to the show...titled "Jeep".

I've come to realise that there are several things on these puppies that make you go "what the hell" were they thinking?..... but overall they troop right along like the little tanks they are.

One that gets me every time is the almost completely unprotected ECU. And the placement right at the edge of where the hood closes... pretty easy to get moisture right onto it if not careful. Seems goofy to me. I'm tinkering with different ideas to waterproof it.

Water proofing it sounds like a good idea !! Maybe you could post some pics of how you do it, if you get around to it !!
