The PO of my "new" '99 XJ replaced the driver's side window regulator. It moves up and down fine, but doesn't stop when the window is all the way up or down, but instead, the motor keeps running and makes this awful noise that sounds like gear teeth slipping. Is there some sort of torque limit adjustment on these things?

Sub'd.. my drivers side does the same thing.. but only in the down position.
