Window to Regulator attachment
Well, one thing always leads to three.... I went to replace my front window regulators today and the "threaded plastic grommet thingy" for lack of a better term that attaches to the glass and then gets attached to the regulator is busted and half of one is missing....
anyone know if these are a common thing one of the parts stores would have in the help section or something or do I have to go to the stealership and spend 2 hours with a guy while he looks at his computer and tells me there is no such thing. anyone have the part number? I'm sure I could rig something but its kind of a delicate thing since the glass is attached to it.

is the bolt head stripped, or the nut? I had a spare lying around, but i'm sure I could eventually find one in a parts store, JY would be faster though.

one is borken in half, but I have both sides and the other one only has the back side, I didn't check the threads since the bolt was missing... someone had obviously been in there before me and since the regulator was busted they didn't worry about it. the one with both halves should slip together but the plastic broke so it spins when I tighten it if I don't hold it from the back. there really isn't a nut, its just threaded. I'd like to just get two complete replacements if possible.

Couldn't find them, but maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing.... don't really know how to search for it.

well, apparently Jeep no longer makes these, so had to hit up the JY. Luckily I was able to snag one off an older model and it fit.... only pita was getting my hand up in there since I couldn't roll the window down, and I guess they used torx fastners on these (luckily I was able to borrow the right size from a guy there)
