my passenger side window keeps falling down.. when i push the button to roll it up i can hear the motor but nothing happens. do you think this would be the motor or the regulator? like i said i can hear the motor and the window wont stay up.. just falls straight down into the door.. currently have it propped up.

 

Mine just fell down today. Same deal: motor turns but nothing happens. I took the panel off, and it looks like the cable came off, but I can't figure out how the heck it goes back on. Can't figure out if I need a whole new assembly, or if this just came off for some (fixable) reason. Anyone got a diagram, or knowledge of how this works?

dude.. this worked awsome thank you. i used wire instead of cotter pins because i couldnt find the right size pin. just to let you know tho.. i used 14 gauge wire which i think i might switch to 16 gauge this weekend to reduce friction and hopefully prolong the life of my window motor. but other then that it works perfectly.. thanks again for the info. saved me $150 bucks. WOOT!! today was a good day.
