Default Window goes down, Not up? Wiring diagram anyone please!

2000 Cherokee 180K
Window lock hardwired. This has been an issue since I purchased the car.

The driver rear window will go down but not up.
Unless, I manually reverse the motor wires.
So the window will go up only, if I take the door panel off and manually give it the 12V in reverse (from what was downward power) to the window motor.

My question is, What is in the circuit that would reverse polarity of the wiring?

I had this exact problem except on the passenger front. Turned out to be the passenger front window switch board. Replacing the passenger switch board fixed the problem . Both it and the drivers switch board are known problem items.

Yes, unless you see evidence that somebody has hacked the working in the door, you probably need to look at the switch.

Sorry for the complete newb-ness here,
But I assume the switch board is in the driver door?
Or where is the switch located?
