Im needing some help on deciding which bumper I want to build. I've got to that im having to choose from.Need help.

i would say # 2 but i think they are both pretty lame

# 1 looks like it needs more thought.

I don't like ether. You want to keep you winch out of your grill like #1 for air flow

I say niether. I have a rig with a big honkng winch bumper.. and I have denied on obstacles even before I could wheel them because of the front over hang. The next bumper I build Is going to mount the winch like the factory did. To the front x-member. Figure I would beef up both sides with 6"x1/4 plate and tie it into both "frame horns". Maybe space the front bumper out a lil, and cut a hole and reinforce the bumper and use a hawse fairlead in it. Of couse I am going to use a winch that I can remote mount my solenoids with. Also will make it easier to use my front winch as a sinch winch for the front axle.
