I might be picking up a 1999 Cherokee XJ Sport. I have some wheels/tires from my current Ford Ranger.

The Cherokee is lifted with a 3" Rough Country setup.

My current wheels:
15x10" with 3.81" backspacing
32x11.5x15" BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO

Will they fit? Anyone have pictures of a similar setup?

 

No they will rub like crazy. Also those wheels are too wide for the tire.

 

Mine has 33" tires and a 4.5" lift, I had to cut a bunch out of my fenders

 

Kind of. They will rub pretty good, you would need to trim the heck out of the fenders and probably get different LCA, and even then they will probably rub some.
All the 32x11.5 I see call for an 8-10" wheel, he's at the limit but I wouldn't say too wide.

I say too wide because of the high probability of popping a bead when deflated that comes from running a wheel that wide.

 

It's more than likely gonna rub. I have a 3" lift and run 31's and had to trim my fenders with 15x8 wheels. However I don't believe that my lift was a true 3", since then I've added spacers and larger leafs and it's not even close to rubbing now.l If I went to 32's then I might see a little rubbing at full lock. Yours being a 15x10 with that backspacing it will probably rub on the back of the fender. Trimming the fenders and maybe adding a spacer to the front can remedy it. But only one way to find out! What size are on it now?

 

100% correct but with that wheel most likely all it will be is a "Mall Crawler" and no real off road use where any tire needs to be aired down for traction and ride. 1st they pop off the rim 2nd the wheel breaks because it hits a small rock on the edge of the rim and a piece breaks off. That is why most all use steel wheels for off use they only bend a little and can be beat back out to seal back up most of the time.


I have ran 33x12:50x15's with a 3" lift and a 15x8" wheel with 3.75" of BS for over a year and you have to do a lot of trimming. With the proper wheel you can use a stock LCA if you must but aftermarket is suggested. I run a set of 35's on beadlocks on 15x8" wheels also.


A 33" tire with stock gears is a real pig and causes a lot of problems if left unchecked for long, get some 4.56 gears.

 

I have 33" tires with 3.55 r&p and they don't bother me but I think I might want to go to 3.73. With 4.56 gears you can kiss the interstate goodbye

 

I think you need to recheck your calvulations. 4.56 on 33s is about the same gearing as stock tires with a 3.73 and it matches factory gearing on 35s. Hell you can do 70 with 4.56 on stock tires but you will be above 3k rpm.

 

Glad we were thinking the same thing. I see a bunch of Chevy trucks on 6" lifts with 33x12.5 on a 15x10 where i live and have to laugh every time. I would be suprised if they have ever gone farther off-road than a dirt road or the access road to the beach.

 

3k at 65 is a little excessive to me, mine has plenty of pickup

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm new at this but I like how mine rides but I would just personally prefer 3.73

 

Your chart is quite a ways off. With 29s and 3.55 at 65 I might be at 2100. I don't know if that's for a different jeep but its off. I have a 99 auto.
