Right. I was speaking with a summit rep and they said "you know we have this wheel in black?" like they wanted me to buy black instead. I told them i had black the past 3 years and that everyone runs that color to the point that it gets old. I figured silver would match too cuz the decals are all silver. I figured if they look *****y, i'd paint em pink. Pink's the norm these days.

I should have these on by mid march and i'll post pictures here for all of you to laugh at.

I just got off the phone with summit and ordered my tire/wheel combo. I ended up being like everyone else and getting black only cuz my gf didn't like silver. Gotta listen to the lady. The rep i spoke with said the silver crager wheels were on backorder so i'd have to wait even longer so i said screw it, black on black. At least i KNOW it will look good now.

now who wants to buy my street tires on stock wheels???? I can't wait to get them at least 100 miles away from me. I hate em.

i think you will not regret going with black, a lot of people have them for a reason.

I went over to summit racing yesterday to get these wheels. They have a display wall of ALOT of wheels that you can choose from for your car/truck/jeep. They also have this computer set up in front of the wheels and it lets you choose your rig and wheel combo to see what it looks like installed. It's pretty neat. You can lift your rig, lower it, change the color, tint, etc until it matches yours and then choose from hundreds of wheels to view on it.
They had crager soft 8's hanging on the wall, both silver and black. The silver is nearly the same color as our stock wheels but it looks different on the web. I played around on the computer and put the silver wheels on the black xj and it looked great. I asked the salesman if he had four silver wheels in stock and they did! So i asked if i could see them and he brought them out. To my disapointment, one of the wheels had two chips on the edge of teh wheels and they didn't have any other in stock. I almost became the first to use silver wheels (that i could find on teh internet) but went black instead. $151 and i was on my way home. Now if only my trxus mt's will show up at 4wd.com. One more week....one more.....

I seriously recommend you guys stop in summit racing and check our their store. Their customer service is top of the line and it was a great experience, all 3 times i went there.
