Will oem front and gas skids from a 96 fit an 01?

with the diffrence in frame and no frame my guess is that it wouldn't work... think you need one for a classic cherokee... maybe a grand but just a guess

Front yes, gas not easily. The tank changed in 97 so you'd have to rework the gas skid quite a bit. Looks about like 50% of the labor of just making a new one. For gas tank just get a ZJ skid, all you need to do is drill new mounting holes and you're off! Something like a hitch can be used as a template
