Question Will It Interchange....

I have a '93 XJ and am having no luck what so ever finding a good factory header panel, but ran up on a deal on a set of fenders, hood, and complete header panel off a 2000 model and also all the same things off a 2001 model. So will this stuff interchange onto my '93?

Replacing the front clip sheetmetal on early body style rigs with later has been done, so you should be able to do it. I don't know how much work it would be (I'd imagine that it's not quite a straight swap,) but it's certainly doable. It may be a direct swap - I just don't know enough to say yet.

its a straight swap... all you need is the fenders and the header panel. the hood is the same. the only problem you may run into is the a/c condenser line runs very close to the back of the header panel. i had to file mine down a little. btw my cherokee is an 89

I swapped the heder panel on my 95. I did not do the fenders.

The only real problem I had was the wiring. If you have trouble with them just let me know and I can tell you which wires I spliced together.

Good luck and here are some pics for good measure!

well tha answers that question gonna have to see if pick and pull has a good deal on a set of fenders and the header I like this style front end better but I couldn't live with eth fenders like that.
