Default Will a grand Cherokee V8 Fit better then 350

ok so instead of 350 what if i take a grand cherokee v8 and rebuild has that been done before ? this will be goin in a 2000 jeep cherokee sport

Pretty much the same size so it would be personal perferance I would put the mopar block in it there is a great write up on comanche club.com on a small block mopar going in a comanche that you could use as a guide on the swap.

but with the mopar block its a 5.7 LT1 idk what size is the v8 grand cherokee

I think the 350 would be the best and easiest. The 350 has more swap adapters and more transmission & transfer case options. If you do the swap make sure you get the wiring harness for the fuel injection, a throttle body type would be easier than a multi port system, but the multi port would perform better. 383 stroker with throttle body injection and headers 365 ponies and 425 lbs torque.
