Hey, just need to know if a 2000 grand cherokee 4.0 engine will bolt up to my 1993 I can get the engine tranny and transfer case with 78,000 miles on her for around 200 cash and I need to know what I need to do to accomplish this thanks

 

need the wiring harness and computer and tranny.

 

no it will not fit. the fan on a cherokee 4.0 is off-center, whereas the fan on a gc motor is right in the center. this makes it so block will not fit, at least not easily. i believe if i recall correctly, chrysler actually made 3 different blocks for the 4.0 one for wranglers, one for cherokees, and one for gc's
