My brakes make a big pop noise like really loud when I hit the brakes qucickly. Also when I hit them in reverse
From the drums? Probably unseated. Drums are cheap to replace, especially if you can do yourself. Or, there is a bad u joint than needs replaced. If its the front end making the noise then there could be a couple of things that are attributing to it- u joints, control arm bushings, tre, ball joint...

The front pads may not be seated correctly, the caliper bushings could be worn out, could be anything. You'll have to pull the wheels off and take a look.
