I run TIMKEN hubs on mine and never have issues. With the warranty I just replace them every year just so I know I have fresh, new hubs each year. It only takes about 30 minutes to change them out so it's well worth it to me.

 

What year Jeep and which Timken part #?

 

2000 xj. TImken HA597449. I've heard stories of AZ not having the right part in the box?

 

The studs are also longer, about 1/4"

 

There are two diff sizes depending on your rotors

 

How would I figure that out?

 

I've never bought Timken from Auto Zone but I sell Timken stuff where I work. When I go into work tomorrow I'll pop open some stuff at random and see where it says it was made.

 

I can't remember exactly what years were what but I know there was something about composite rotors being a diff size.

About Half way down

 

Turns out the one I pulled off was a part number 513084 for 90-99 cherokee. So I guess my front axle was swapped out for some reason. Either that or the wrong hub assemblies were put in.

 

Thanks for the read, very helpful. My XJ is a 2000, manufacture date 01-00. Now I need to figure out if my axle is 2000 and the PO put the wrong hubs...or if the axle was swapped and a 1999 was put in. My rotors are cast.

 

It may be that they both will fit... I'm not entirely sure I just knew there were two different size hubs. U may just want to Google it to be sure,
