I have scoured the internet, called dealerships, junkyards, etc and for the life of me cannot find anyone who sells a throttle valve cable ( detent, kick down). Everyone acts like they have no clue. Can anyone HELP! lol.
By the way, I am new to jeeps and this forum. Purchased a 98 classic for $700 that needs a little work. I have already looked up quite a few questions here, great forum!!
Thanks!

You can get them on many websites including Rockauto.com and autozone.com. They are not cheap, by any means, for what they are so if you can fix yours, better luck to you.
I broke the end of my cable because it was too cold outside when I was removing it and the plastic ball clamp snapped in half. However, I bought some extra 1/16th" wire cable and some 1/16th" Ferrule & Stop Sets from home depot and I plan on fixing it myself. If you measure everything correctly, you should have good success with the parts metioned above ($4) and a vice grip to clamp the aluminum stops in place.
Good luck-
