Who owns the Rusty's XJ Cherokee 3" Spring Pack Kit?
I finally have my 92 XJ 2 dr 5 spd rolling. However, my suspension is completely shot. My leaf springs are flat & the front coil springs are also soft. In fact, my pasenger side coil spring is broken & makes the passenger side sag a few more inches. Otherwise, it is uniformly saggy, more so than a 2 wheel drive.
I really wanted to wait until next Spring or Summer & install a 3.5" Rubicon Express kit. However, my suspension is in such terrible shape, that I'm not sure it can wait, especially with winter coming.
So, how is the Rusty's 3" XJ Cherokee Spring Pack kit in comparison? I'm mean the lift with the aftermarket leaf springs, not the add a leaf.
Reviews, comparisons, comment?
I'd be willing to buy a used 3.5" RE is such a thing existed.
Thanks in advance!

My leafs were not wore out to bad so I went with the add-a-leaf package. So not exactly what your looking for but as for a product i have had absolutely no complaints with my rustys components front and rear. Ive heard a lot of negative stuff about rusty's but i have some buddies who mud race there two XJs professionally in NC and have had no problems. Trust me they jump them and beat the crap out of them. I havent had anny issues w/ mine on or off road either and i do a lot of wheeling. I have 3" inch kit + the two inch shackles and spacers. they are cheap so you might as well do it at the same time. Hope this helps.

It's also worth mentioning that I will be running the stock tires for awhile as well.

No the lower control arms will work fine. Any bigger then that they wont work. And i havent lowered the transfer case but will probly eventually throw some shims in there to level it out a little so i dont tear anything up in the future. The only thing that i would prob do that i didnt is get some extended quick disconects for your front sway bar or just some extensions becuase ive have bent mine a bit. They are under 50 bucks. i just remove the hole thing before i do any wheeling so i dont need them.
May look a little funny with stock wheels but if you dont do it you'll be upset when you have to take it all apart again to fit the shackles and spacers.

I had run that lift before. Nice kit, never sagged while I had it and the guy I sold it to says its still in perfect condition. Wouldn't have sold it if I wasn't going bigger either.

haven't read all the other posts, just the thread title and thought i'd chime in. i have the rustys 3 inch kit with the full leafs and i like it very much. for what it is i can't complain, and i am out there in the trails at least once a week and i've had the lift for about a year and a half. no problems

I'm being swayed back towards Rusty's kit again. I looked @ Rough Country, but, they don't have a 3" full leaf, only a 3" with add a leaf.
