I have a low rider in comparison, but it's on some large tires. any taller and I would be on my lid more than I would like.
probably the most vertical I have ever been:

umm idk how much lift i got but my 38.5 boggers seem to fit nicely. nobody can give me a straight answer of how to tell how much i got

I'd guess like atleast 10in lift, maybe 12!! I'm 8in and my tires 37's tuck under nicely, yours doesn't really and your 3/4in closer with the 38.5's. Get a measurement on level ground to the bottom of your doors, and as soon as I can I'll PM you mine and we will see what lift you are. I'll just take off the tire difference and it will be close. I still put anything on 10-12 easy. That's HUGE!!!! How's the 4.88's? I have 6.18, so mines a powerhouse, enough for these 37's to snap D44's lol.
How to tell how high? Get a measurement on level ground, from ground to bottom of your rockers. Second measurement, a tire measurement. It will be more correct like this because all tires are different. They may say 38.5 but be off a bit. With those two measurements, or atleast he first I'll get you a lift size tomorrow. I'll measure mine and add a difference. It will be close enough to tell people. Do you have and 8in spring in front and a spacer maybe, for a 10in?
Where you live at? If you want D60's I can put you in touch with a very smart guys with 42's on his XJ and D60's. Mine are biult D44's with 6.18's and they would go crazy with your tires but I rockcrawl and do most 5 trails, lack of tire size keeps me from doing some. I'm going with spacers and 39's

id like to see a pic of this... i got min trimmed just enough where i was able to weld them back together... a whole inch... yaaayyyy... but i still wanted it to be strong...Originally Posted by ThumperK15
Nope, there's plating about 3 inches wide filling in the gap caused when cutting that much out. Full size mirrors for full size hugeness
I'm on my iPhone and my XJ is at my parents and that's 40miles from here. I can tomorrow.
CHIF8008, can you get a pic of what he wants? I can tomorrow but yours is cut to the back doors also, and besides I want to see a better pic of you flares. Us guys with cut up to the back door, fenders, makes it hard for flares lol.

hey thumper also was your waggy front axle hard to convert over? would it be easier to do with the stock axle still under the jeep our out of the way?
The rear of course was cut and weld perchs in the correct spot. Front of mine is plated for the long arm lift. My frameless XJ now has a frame welded in for strength.

pic of what? i can get the measurments but nobody said anything about a pic.
my comp. is being really slow so uploading pics of my flairs does not work, but i do have a cardomain account that i have some pics up on that you could check out if you want

Guess I forgot a quote in there. He wanted a pic of my rear fenders. When we cut to our back doors it leaves a gap. Mines just plated in with steel.
