Default Where to get headliner fabric to cover overhead console?

I've got an overhead console that desperately needs to be recovered. I'd love to cover it with OEM gray color. Anyone know where I can find it? Unfortunately, I live in BFE Wyoming so the nearest Joann fabrics or nearest fabric store is at minimum 2 horus away. All We have is a row in WalMart and they tend to carry little more than Disney Princesses designs. Not really what I'm going for so local is out.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Unfortunately, I live in BFE Wyoming so the nearest Joann fabrics or nearest fabric store is at minimum 2 horus away. All We have is a row in WalMart and they tend to carry little more than Disney Princesses designs. Not really what I'm going for.

well u can online shop at jcwhitney.com, http://www.stockinteriors.com/headli...14&ModelId=248
and make sure u get a quality spray on glue for the headliner or it will fall off i prefer using a commercial glue that u spray from an automotive paint gun but there are good aresol products too such as 3M General Trim Adhesive hope this helps

Ebay. I've used plain old contact cement with excellent results.

I'm most interested in color matching so I need to know which supplier's grey matches the XJ's headliner grey. I'm hoping others with experience with this can direct me to the right place, but I'm not sure how feasible this is as I'm sure the color has faded and such leaving any replacement fabric 'off' a little bit. I'm just looking to cover a console, not the entire headliner so the new fabric will be right up against the old stuff.

Wish me luck,
s

if u're concerned about color matching, when i replaced my headliner i bought the replacement kit back in 2007 from wls headliners.

http://www.wlsheadliners.com/cheroke...311746def7bd56

you should be able to find your color there.

WLS Headliners is a good option for you, especially considering you live in BFE.

Stock Interiors (see link above) has samples they mail out. I should be able to directly compre the different Grey fabrics in about a week. If not, I'll look into WLS. Ebay has great prices, but I cannot confirm colormatching.
