I have a 00, and i am upgrading the headlight system via go jeep's diagram and i go to install the lights and i cant find the relay for the headlights! where are they? I've also already made the harness.

 

If it's not under the hood in the fuse and relay box, it's probably under the steering column which can be accessed from below by removing a trim panel and then a metal security guard, you may also want to replace your blinker relay while under there, as mine went out in my '99 just recently.

 

im looking through my fsm, which i should've done before i even started this project, and i cant see that this thing even has headlamp relays. I found them for the fog lights, but no headlight hi/low beam

 

anyone have an xj that is minus headlight relays and have upgraded the headlight harness? I need to find where to connect the 86 pins on the new harness for the high low beam input.
