Where do I start?

Im a newbie to the XJ. Just bought my 96 a few weeks ago. It is bone stock 5 speed with 170k. I have been reading several of your threads and have been absorbing as much as possible. I just wanted some input on the more vital mods and upgrades. Keeping budget in mind as well.

Vital mods as to what? engine performance, lift, tires, offroad stuff, cool mods just to look good... theres a alot of all of them... just keep reading... ive only had mine acouple months and it went from stock to what you see in my pics... just from me reading all these and googling XJ Mods... goodluck!

it depends what you want to do with the XJ; like what kind of wheeling, if it's gonna be a DD, etc. a lot of people will add recovery points and a couple skids and then build up the suspension.
