8.25 axle u bolts? im doing my lift soon and need to know if a local store would have them

 

Any auto parts store should have them.

 

i looked at some sites and they seem to only have them for the d35

 

anyone know if the autozone block kits u bolts are 3 inches?

iro sells a good pair for the price
i spent 2 days driveing around to autopart stores that " had them when i called" but none of the auto parts stores did. one sold me the wrong size and told me it was the right size. i blew through 20 bucks and i just ordered them online in the end.

 

just looked at them on thier website. are they long? because im doing a bastard pack

 

i used half ton chevy truck ubolts on my 8.25....5/8" moar betta!!!!! standard length..the autozone ones will be rinky-dink little things

 

its for my 2wd jeep so im not worried about it. im just wondering if the autozone ones were 3" and if someones used them on a 8.25

This is a local mom and pop spring shop near me. Their prices are good, and he ships fast, I had mine at my door in 2 days. They also carry center pins, leaf clips, tips, any of the crap you might need.

Any spring shop you go to (not just this one) will get you a higher quality bolt, fine threads, and they know what you are talking about when you call. I hate going to auto zone and having to educate the counter clerk as to exactly what a center pin is, why I need it, and no that crappy grade 5 bolt on the other side of the counter will not work.
