wheel/tire issues

wheel/tire issues
Hey guys....... A wheel manufacturer is trying to tell me a 15" dia 8" wide wheel with 1" offset & 5.5" of backspacing will hold my 31x10.5's without any clearance issues on my 95 XJ with 5" of lift. I'm thinking I'm gonna run into issues on the rear spring & control arm issues when I turn.
Anybody care to chime in?? Is my thinking flawed or is he just trying to sell me a wheel?

Yes you will hit your control arms when you turn. I got the same tire with 4.5 back spacing and hit my CA so I am sure that 5.5 will run the **** out of it.

yep, you'll wanna go with 4 to 4.5 inch backspacing on that, or just make wide turns, lol.
