I've installed 1.25" spacers/pattern converters to accommodate 16" wheels with the 5 x 5 lug bolt pattern. I'm posting to see what others have done and if the rear wheels had issues.
The front hubs had no issues. The rear lug bolts are shorter than the front and therefore you get less coverage of the lug nut on the lug bolt. Has anyone else done this and had to cope with this? See photos. I will say that the stock lug nut has no more than 1/2" of threads that are on the lug nut when installed and that about matches the attachment nuts for the spacer.
I'm most looking to get the experiences of XJ owners that have been through this before.

These work? Figure out the exact length needed then just cut to fit.

Just curious, is that a fire pit or some sort of landscape feature in your driveway?
