Default Wheel bearing Noise

I just replaced my front wheel bearings and put new cvc joints in my 89 Cherokee, now when I turn the wheel hard right or left, its making at noise on the drivers side wheel. Is it possible the new bearing was defective!!??

I guess anythings possible... probably not tho. check your tin dist shields/backing plates.. sometimes they run into stuff and need to be tweaked back out of the way.

Check your torque settings. Too tight will casue binding and excessive wear.

Yes.

RenoXJ had a good point as well.

Jack up the front end and spin one of the wheels while listening for the issue.
