I'm buying a new set of wheels+tires to replace the stock ones with my lift, but I'm unsure of what the backspacing measurement means. The wheels I want come in a 3.75" or 4.5" backspacing, to be used with 31x10.50's on a 3.5" lift. I would like to avoid fender trimming for now if possible. Also, will the tires run better on 7" or 8" width? Thanks!

i beleve stock is 5" it is the mesurement from the back lip to the mounting holes so less backspacing means tires sticking out more

 

stock are 5.25" and 7" wide. if you dont want to trim stick to stock BS.

Nice! You've got exactly the look i'm going for. I would put tires on the stock rims but they're 16" and have almost brand new all around tires so I'm going to keep those for around town+highway use, the metric tires for the 16" seem to be a bit more pricey too. What do you have in terms of the lift under yours? I'm trying to decide between the RE 3.5" superflex or just piecing it together myself.

 

The RE 3.5 is a nice kit, get it.
