Default What's that noise!

I have a 97 country with a 3 inch sky jacker suspension lift that was put in about 8 yrs ago over the last yr I've had a rattle develop and I can't figure out were it's coming from just put new shocks all way around I've put front brakes and rotors and calipers I've pulled the center console and checked shift linkage I've been under this thing so many times and found nothing loose,no metal rubbing together no loose bolts whatever it is it doesn't take much of a bump or ruff spot in the road for it to rattle I've tried rocking it ,nothing! It only rattles when the jeep is in motion it sounds like its gonna fall apart going down the road when I hit a bump it's not the exhaust does anyone have any idea what else it could be?

do you hear it more from the front or the rear? does it have a sway bar, maybe bracket bushings?

How do your control arm bushings look. If they are dry and cracked that could be an issue. If it happens on turn the possibility of a worn ball joint could be the culprit.

Maybe a long shot here, but my exhaust pipe rattles against my crossmember I would check that as a possibility.

Check your flexplate bolts. There is an inspection plate that comes right off in front of it, and you should have access to at least 1 bolt to see if it is loose.
