Default Whats a good tune up kit for the 4.0? i.e sparkplugs, cap, rotor etc..

Im looking for a decent tune up kit for the 4.0. Id like to get wires, cap, rotor, wires and plugs.

I seen this kit at summit

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-867625CR/

plugs

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CPN-412/

Id like to get something at advance autooparts though. Reason for that is because I have a 41% off coupon code, and well Id save money.

Do you have any recommendations on which things to get at advance auto?

The summit kit is a great kit, but if you wish to use your coupon ( I would). Champion plugs are good, and borg and warner ( i think thats the spelling I'm to tired to check) they have good ignition parts, I don't know what wires they carry there just try for the best ones they have.g/l

When I did my tune up, I got Champion Copper Plugs from the parts store and the wires/cap/rotor from the dealer.

Champion plugs, when you get a cap/rotor, get one that has brass contacts,

5-20 or 5-30? As in, 5w20 or 5w30 in our 4.0? Only use 5w30 in winter conditions for an easier startup. As for 5w20... I don't think I'd ever want that crap in my 4.0. 20w at operating temperature seems kinda low compared to the recommended 30w at OT. And it seems really low compared to an older engine like mine in which I'm running 10w40 now.

But, I do agree with the Mobil 1 part lol.

5-20 has the same viscosity at operating temp as 10-40... difference is viscosity at start up. Go to bobistheoilguy.com and click oil university. Educate yourself. Viscosity is grossly misunderstood. I run 5-30 in 100+ degrees and will be going to 5-20 because its just that much better on start up. Trust me they have the same "thickness" at operating temp. Using a lighter oil is doing your engine a favor. There is a lot of science behind it. Please go to that link and educate yourself. The more who understand the better and longer our engines will last.
