What's The Deal With Airbag Light/Jeep?
Reading up on the problem with the airbag light coming on or flickers. Seems like this is a "common" problem with Jeep Cherokees. What's the history on this issue and what are common fixes for it?
Most common cause seems to be the connector behind the cluster either works loose some or the contacts themselves become dirty. Most have the best success pulling the cluster, cleaning the contacts, and reseating everything.
I have also heard of a kit designed to replace the contacts, but disassembly and cleaning seem to be the easiest approach.
