Is it supposed to dangle to the left or right? At the moment it kinda sits in the middle.

Dangle angle can vary, from middle, left, right, or up. When dangle angle is up, it increases horsepower for a short time.

I've heard the older it is the more likely you will need additives to get it in the up position for the HP increase.

As previously posted check your blinker fluid. That dangle bolt is at a bad angle. I'm sure most of your blinker fluid is gone. Try Motul brand, you can buy it at any local parts store

Yes, cover it with seafoam, or just leave it in the middle for crusing

dont remove that bolt, its the air release for your jeep, it will deflate, real pain to reinflate. you will need a whatchamacallit to go on the hoozit and then a thingymabob to blow it back up, highly recommended you have your girlfriend or wife help you blow it back up. They have experience..... if you overblow you will have a blazer
