What are the wires for on the dummy spacw on dash for ?

What are the wires for on the dummy spacw on dash for ?
Install switch for lights,took off the dash to add to the lank space right of the rear window washer controls and it appears wires run to it ? You can see in middle of top pic what are these ?

Sorry iPhone was messing up. Yes I do believe it was the factory fog as it just resting in there. I drilled a hole for a new switch. Could I some how have used the oem wires ?
