What are the issues with your Jeep exactly? There are extra connectors on the harness of any vehicle and they don't necessarily have to go "anywhere".

all jeep Cherokees (at least 96 and below that i know of) were built with the same harness, auto and manual alike. so if you are a manual, u have an extra plug. if you don't have fog lights, you have extra plugs. if you dont have ABS then you have an extra plug. no rear windshield wiper, you have an extra plug. you get the picture. one of those should be a fog light connector
