What is this used for?
I just recently purchased my XJ and starting to go threw it from front to rear. I've noticed this mounted between the sun visors and would like to know what it's purpose is. I don't have my Hayes repair manual yet other wise I'd look it up. I did stop at a Jeep dealer and would you believe they couldn't tell me what it was either? So anyone have any idea what this is? Thanks for all your time folks!

Thanks for the info! That will be coming out when I get the headliner replaced. Due to not having the remote to it.

I wouldn't do that. You can buy the remote off eBay and your local jeep dealer can program it for about $50.
