Default What to use to clean engine bay from mud?

So I went playing in the mud a long time ago and still after numerous times power washing it I still can't get all the mud out of the engine bay. Is there anything that works good? Or how do u guys keep your engine looking new?

Simple green. Soft bristled brush. Once it's dry, spray all the grease off with Brakleen. Once that dries, spray all the metal with WD-40 and all the plastic with tire foam.
