Default What tire pressure for 31s??

I know I know..I did the chalk and checked thread pattern but I am still puzzle because I am getting funky thread wear on my 245/75/16 Good Year MT/Rs

The outer lugs are wearing off faster. One is slightly more worn then the next. Almost like cupping.

I got the tires maybe 2K ago. And I got an alignment right away. It can't be worn shocks. I got a RE 3.5 with brand new OME Shocks less then a yr ago.

I currently inflated them to 37psi just so that it would ride more in the center of the tire. But They still wearing funky. Just wanted to hear what other XJ owners are running in regards to PSI with this tire size.

Cheers

X 2, if you just had it aligned the only other things that cause cupping is bad hub assemblies or balljoints. jack your jeep up and grab the top and bottom of the front tires and give them a shake. They shouldn't move at all. If they do you have play in the bearings or balljoints.

They felt solid to me. But the Jeep now has 136K on it. I was hoping to replace them nevertheless sometime in the Spring. Just to be on the safe side.

Wanted to spend mod money on re gearing for slightly better MPGs

Since there is mentioned of ball joints and what not. Would it be wise to go for this steering conversion. I already got a Track Bar from RE. Or maybe just the Tie Rod - HD Replacement from Rusty's?

I'll double check again. Does not hurt to go over it again.
