i think they used to be running board brakits or somethin. they were on there when i bought it!

2 door? i think some 2 doors came with running boards not sure about four doors.

I was looking at your pic of your lower control arm and I was thinking that the bend goes the other way what you guys think

I have the bend in my lowers turned the same way. That is how the install instructions stated to mount them. Turning the bend upward takes out a little of the space between the arm and the shock mount on the axle reducing the amount of axle drop when flexing due to contact interference. You can remove a small amount of the metal on the shock mount to increase axle drop as long as you do not remove to much.

i think what he is trying to say is that the bend does go downwards, but it's supposed to be closer to the mount on the axle. it's purpose is to give more space between the axle and the link bar.

I would have to go ahead and agree with that. (from what I've seen)

I think you should spray bedliner on those brackets. Case closed.
