I've always thought mine runs too cool. I've changed sending units twice, and instrument clusters twice, and it still runs cool.

It never goes above the first mark.

I have a thermostat that I bought a when I bought the beast, and one of these days, I'm gonna install it.

Either no stat in there or it's stuck open. I'm leaning toward no stat in there.

My Renix does that. My '92 HO doesn't. As I stated earlier, they both have the 195* MOPAR thermostat in them.

They don't run hot or cold.

I have learned to accept that and go on down the road.

And you would be correct.

My guess is the PO removed the stat......u may have other issues once a stat is installed.

Possibly, but the law of average are against that theory. Everything is new. Radiator, pump, hoses, Thermostat (gotta get that thing installed)

As I mentioned in my original restoration post, everything is new on the little beast.

Only the engine, transmission, axles and springs are original.

Since I either missed or forgot your original restoration post then yes, u should be good IF the stat is the last item in your total cooling system replacement.
