What are the essential spare relays I should carry carry when on trail run in my 93 XJ? One of each in the PDC? Anything else?
Thanks for input!

good question, but I think some are the same in the PDC, with a couple of non-essentials like blower fan can be swapped
there is spare relay slots in the PDC too hold them
I have '96, and would like to know as well, so if no one can say, I will have to do a physical examination
I have a spare PDC from a wreck, so can pillage what I need
starter, ASD and fuel pump would be critical

If you have a PDC like mine, you only have one variety. The rectangular package five pin 20 amp.
Next time you see anything in the junk yard that has those, buy all of them and keep them in the console or somewhere.

Well, since I noted all of mine are rectangular and that one is square, nope.Originally Posted by bryzmon

Those are the only ones any parts store pulls when I tell them I need any kind of relay too. Has been that way since 2002ish when my fuel pump relay went bad. The only spots I have for those are ABS and something else, which I don't have in my 1996 XJ.
Something like this, not sure if the diode or resistor matters. 35 amp is better than 20 so the fuse blows instead of the relay.

Then you need mini relays instead of micro relays.
