What year? if I'm remembering correctly on mine that's the diagnostic connector for obd1 but I could be mistaken

Not sure it just goes into that bundle of wires. It just sticks out. What's the obd1 connector do?

Probably OBD1 connector. 95+ is OBDII and located under the dash.

It's the port that you plug a scan tool in to run diagnostics.

never new that. always thought obd plugs were under dash.
