My xj is leaking pretty bad from the front seal right behind the crankshaft/harmonic balancer. What seal is this called? Im having trouble finding it online and the auto parts stores are telling me they dont carry it..

You need to order the front cover gasket SET. It ran me 14 bux and it had the seal. HOWEVER.. Mine was leaking for the longest time and I finally had to replace my harmonic balancer as it was seperating.

Might want to replace the balancer BEFORE it eats into the timing cover. It turns into a headache job once that happens.

Get the front cover seal kit and a new balancer. Rent the puller and the installer and just do it. No need to remove the rad or bumper.
