What are the options for engine swap?

What are the options for engine swap?
My cherokee engine is shot. The head and block are done. I still have everything else including intake, exhaust, throttle body, newer radiator, ect.
I am having a hard time finding an engine to throw in there. a high out put engine would be easier to get.
if i got a high output block and head would my (1989) exhaust, intake, and distributor bolt on?
