Rear pinion angle should be parallel to your transfer case output angle. Front pinion should be pointing at the transfer case output.

What type of SYE/Rear Shaft setup are you running??

For a standard CV/SYE setup, your shaft should look like this.

For 6.5" lift you will need around 6-7* shims.

i've read this before that if you're not running sye/cv driveshaft that the rear pinion should match the tc output. is there a reason this is preferred over it being parallel to the driveshaft even if you're not using a double cardan? i shimmed my rear pinion (have stock slip-yoke design) figuring it would take care of 1/2 the vibration problem (and it does).

At least 6 degree on the back with that much lift. Need a SYE also.

On different note, my front does not line up with the tc as shown in the picture. How can I tilt the diff. without screwing up the caster??

they say 1 degree for every inch but i would think 4 degree would work the best because if your using shackles as part of your lift they will tilt the diff a few degrees already.
