Going to be putting a new muffler on my 99 sport and am wondering what all some of you guys might have on yours. Ive looked at just stock ones and there not bad in price and am just searching my options before putting a new one.

Ive got a magnaflo oval muffler from jegs, it sounds awesome.

 

ive got a flowmaster 40 series on my 87. its not loud but its not quiet either...just enough to be noticed. nice sound to it too

 

40 series flomasters sound great to. I have them on my v8 yj.

 

I was wondering how the 40 series sounded on the jeeps.

Anyone run any of the others that flowmaster puts out?

 

I believe the 40 series is specificly designed to be hardcore. The guy at jegs told me they had a thicker case than the others. I have the stainless delta flo's on my nova with a v8, they sound good too. But my 40 series came with a diamond plated case, which looks more jeep. The magnaflo 4" oval sounds sweet on my jeep.

 

I have the 40 series on my xj and my 4.7 wj. Sounds really good on both. Nice deep tone.
