What mods for 00 Cherokee
Greetings All,
I'm new to the forum, to jeeps (Cherokees in particular), and not new to off roading. I'm considering buying a 2000 Cherokee with 84,000 miles and 42,000 mile s on the motor. The thing runs beautifully and the motor was done buy a professional who had planned to keep it for his wife. It's all stock save 31" tires.
I intend to store it in a heated garage for 5 months of the year and use it as a street/light crawling vehicle for the rest of the time. I have an 02 Exploder AWD that has been through all the passes and stuff that I plan to do with this Cherokee so I know I could leave it stock. The Exploder will hence forth be the interstate car. With the idea that I don't want to sacrifice much highway comfort, how far can I go with lifts, shocks, skid plates, lockers, winches, exhaust, intake, etc.?
Any other issues that should be addressed?
How should I prioritize it?
I'm wish I wasn't asking for windy responses but any that appear will be greatly appreciated.
But links will be equally appreciated.
Is there a publication that addresses all this.
Thanks in advance.

Start with recovery and armor, bumpers, recovery points, next look into lifts...if your wanting to go all out go with a long arm kit...if $ isn't an issue look into a Clayton long arm...also research tires for what kind of wheeling your wanting to do. With bigger tires your gonna wanna re gear...you'll find plenty of info on here. For lifts/parts check these places out: quadratec.com
