Default What to look for

Hi there, I'm new to this forum. I am looking to get a mid 90's Cherokee. I was wondering what I should look for. What mileage should I stay under? This will be my daily driver/weekend 4x4ing and maybe a few 150 mile trips to the inlaws and whatnot. Thanks in advance

If your in the rust belt look in the rear around the gas tank. Knock on the floor board in the hatch. My 95 was mint until the day the rear dropped 3" on one side due to rust killing the rear "frame". Make sure you get a 6 cylinder.

Wow that's crazy. Ya I was going to go for the 6 banger for sure. I seem to see alot for sale that have around 150k on the engine. Is there a reason why? What kind of fuel mileage you getting with the 6 banger ?

Look for rust everywhere. Floor boards are natorious for not being there. 150k is good miles if maintained well.
