Story goes coolant flush, right now its air locked and my heat sucks I just haven't had time to bleed it. But yesterday randomly this hose shot out antifreeze not that much though but enough for the coolant reservoir to go down. It has been a week since I have done the flush this if for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee I6. The hose isn't connected to anything it just goes down towards the LCA.

Interesting. I dont recall seeing this on my jeep and I just replaced a ton of coolant hoses. May be some sort of overflow hose where it directs coolant away from certain things if the level rises. My galant has one...but not 100% on this instance.

Not that its needed, but x3. You need to replace or bypass the heater core.

OK it only did it once for a sec I tink maybe it was because I overfilled the coolant reservoir a little over the full line when it was cold. My heater core doesn't smell or anything and I don't have a puddle in my passenger seat so I think I am ok.

Keep an eye on it, anti-freeze coming from that drain means the heater core is leaking. Over filling the reservoir will not have anything to do with that drain, its only purpose is to let condinsation from the A/C evaporator to drain out of the HVAC case.

If it is because the heater core is leaking I think I have air stuck in there like I said from not burping it. I will try bleeding it and see if it continues.

That is most definitely, without a question, your AC condensation drip hose. If you have coolant leaking from that line, it means your heater core is leaking in the heater box and running out of there. 100% no doubt about it, no other explanation. That is the ONLY reason that coolant would be spilling out of that line.

Everyone keep saying that I don't have to burp it. I did it anyway, well it works a little better now. I think the heater core its just clogged because the bend doors are working fine. I will flush it tonight or tomorrow and post results I will be looking for fish scales. To Wally World for some Prestone.
