what head gasket to get when running ho head on a renix

Default what head gasket to get when running ho head on a renix
so im building a stroker and i have a89 block thats getting a 97 ho head. So what head gasket should i get??? the two have different part numbers

I'm no expert here but I would think the '89 gasket or the '97 gasket would work. The 0630 head ('97) has holes in it for the locating dowls on the '97 block deck and I don't think the '89 block has those dowls. So, if you used a '97 gasket the dowl holes in the gasket would just go along for the ride.

Right?
